It's Just Getting Sad...

I am watching the telecast of the Orioles-Athletics game on MASN and I think I just saw a commercial that just about sums up the Baltimore Orioles season.

This commercial was promoting next week's series against the Rays on MASN.

A recurring theme in these 'upcoming series' commercials is stating the biggest individual stats against each team. This is what MASN came up with:

"Evan Longoria is hitting .387 against the O's this season.

Jeremy Guthrie once pitched 6 scoreless innings against the Rays in April.

WHO WILL OWN IT!?"

I don't think I have ever laughed out loud while sobbing to myself, but this did it. It's almost as if they are taunting the Orioles' fans now. The best stat that they could come up with was that Jeremy Guthrie pitched 6 scoreless innings... IN APRIL!?

That's almost like saying this:

'STEELERS-BROWNS

The Steelers have the best overall defense in Football.

The Browns took a lead into the 3rd Quarter against the Steelers in 2006.

WHO WILL OWN IT!?'
