Get in the hole!

Ok, how asinine can the game of golf get? You have a major, with one of the greatest golfers who ever lived in the hunt, and there are the yahoos screaming on ever single shot. “Get in the hole!”.

Come-on, Tiger is 400 yards away. He was missing 8 ft. puts, yet these guys (heard no women), scream it out on every single shot. Grow up. And this is supposed to be a high brow game?

How about on every pitch we yell – Swing. Just like in the minors of Little League. Tiger-cam is alive and well (they never miss a single shot of his), but it best watched with the sound off.

BTW – who isn’t sick of listening to the announcers, in those hushed tones, telling us how courageous a shot is. It’s flipping golf. It’s not the military, police or firemen, they are courageous, it’s a bunch of well dressed dudes, hitting a little ball, that isn’t even moving.
