Now, that may not look too impressive on paper, but Flacco was flat-out dominant tonight. I find myself constantly forgetting how great Joe looks throwing the ball. He has this very easy going delivery, and then the ball comes out of his hand like a laser. He had success down the field and on mid-ranged throws as well.
His biggest win tonight was his performance under blitz pressure. His pocket presence was phenomenal, and he also reiterated his skill on leaving the pocket to defer pressure.
He was on pace for just short of 300 yards. His under 50% completion rating looks disappointing, but I believe that is more on his receivers and line as much as him.
